Scotsmusic (www.scotsmusic.com) is a web site designed and developed by David to promote Scotland's musicians and music culture to an International audience. Consisting of many pages of information about the history of music in Scotland from 8,000 BC to the present day it is a fascinating insight and useful resource for both musicians and fans of the unique and ancient cultural heritage emanating from the northern lands of the United Kingdom.

The project, which is still being developed, began in autumn 1999 after his graduation in Scottish Studies from Glasgow University. It is divided into sections that deal with both the modern and traditional aspects of Scotland's music. Of particular interest is the 'Top O' The Scots' section whereby a comprehensive list of 99 of the most popular Scottish musicians is given along with direct links to web sites expanding on information about the artist, thus acting as a portal. It is a non profit making venture although plans are in place to develop a commercial arm of the organisation.
