Howff is an old Scottish name for a 17th century graveyard in Dundee but in a more positive note it also means a drinking den, or happy meeting place. In keeping with these ideas this area of scotsmusic is a monument to those musicians who have passed on from this mortal coil but left their mark on the memory of Scotland's music tradition.
